I dont know if these are Thonet chairs, but they are nearly identical to the Thonet S33 and Desta ST11 chairs designed by Mart Stam. The S33 has a chrome frame with a moulded plywood back and seat, while mine have chrome frames with an anatomically-contoured steel seat and steel back that curve along the same lines as the S33. My guess is that these were manufactured circa 1930. The black finish on the seats and backs of my chairs seems to be a hard, baked-on plastic or incredibly-durable lacquer paint. It is chipped in some places, and slightly cracked in some others due to age, but the major blemishes have been touched up, and all of the surfaces can be sat upon without concern. There are also countless little dots of minor surface corrosion on the chromed frames, but most can be scraped off with a fingernail, and therefore, a good polishing by hand should make them even prettier than than they are at present. Here are the closest thing that Ive found to them. See: https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/dining-room-chairs/mid-century-brushed-tubular-steel-contoured-cantilever-chairs/id-f_26798922/? As for their age, I dont know how old they are, but all of the screws are made for a flat head screwdriver, and so that, combined with the fact that Ive found it impossible to locate more like them, indicates that they are definitely the real deal. You can get a good look at the S33 here, although please note that this person has them listed as a set of S43 chairs, which I believe is incorrect, as catalogs cite the S43 as the armchair model: See: https://www.pamono.com/s43-tubular-chairs-by-mart-stam-for-thonet-1930s-set-of-4 --- midcentury mid century modern cesca lorenz bauhaus bau haus tubular ---

Selling a vintage 1940s-50s Art Deco “waterfall” style vanity with the rare matching bench for $85 cash. You could always restore, upcycle, or just resell this vanity and make a nice profit, my loss your gain. This sought after vanity dresser was made by F.S. Harmon Company (they dont make sturdy furniture like this any more)! CONDITION (see all pics): The vintage waterfall style dresser vanity is well-made from maple wood and has the original light brown finish. There are surface scratches, water marks, and dings commensurate with age (adds character) and is reflected in the price. This collectable vanity with lots of style and character measures: 48” Wide x 60” Tall (to top of round mirror) x 30” Deep. FEATURES: The Art-Deco design has 4 rounded wooden drawer pull handles. Has light color wood inlay stripe details on front of the vanity shelf. Has tight dove-tail joints on all 4 deep drawers that open and close easily. Has a split level surface and a nice ribbon-like design under the round mirror. Has stylish ribbed accent trim on the drawer sides and fancy scalloped feet details. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks in the original beveled round frameless mirror (easily detaches). The sturdy rear to find matching bench fits neatly under the vanity shelf. The bench measures: 28” Wide x 28” Tall x 24” Deep. USE: This sturdy vanity / dresser would look great in a master bedroom, teens room, entry hallway, or she-shed. Use as a make-up vanity, as a dresser to store your delicate items in the deep drawers, or as computer desk. Or restore the original wood finish, upholster the bench with fabric, or paint and decal to match your décor. Or repurpose and transform the drawer banks into 2 end tables or night stands (see last pics for project upcycling ideas). I removed the mirror (reattached with screws) to fit the vanity into the back of my Subaru Forester for easy transport. Will meet buyer in the Key Bank Parking lot located in Niskayuna Square at junctions of Balltown and Consaul Roads (next to Hannaford’s parking lot) to make the cash transaction. Sale is final, no returns, sold “as-is”. Thank you.
