I bought this item at an auction about 20 or 25 years ago and when I first got it I did some research on it and evidently it was made in 1820s to 30s its got very unusual dovetailing on the drawers and the bases evidently pretty popular at that time. Its made out of flame mahogany ! Im relocating so Im selling a lot of my personal belongings lots of antiques and other things but I would take $90 or best offer for it its a beautiful piece of furniture Id assume its original finish on it too. I had an antique dealer inspected when I first got it and he took the locking mechanism out on one of the drawers and he says yeah this is definitely handmade early 1800s Ill put a picture of the lock I just took it out even the screws look like their handmade! Even the original key came with the unit when I bought it! Under the dimensions the first two measurements in inches is with both sides down and the second larger number 39 in is with both sides . The frame is sculpted real hardwood and there’s a hanger on the reverse side.
