RARE AND EXQUISITE, HIGHLY DESIRED VINTAGE GEM!! EARLY MID CENTURY 1940s GILBERT ROHDE (for HERMAN MILLER) SLIPPER CHAIR!! Height: 29 inches Width: 39 inches Depth: 27 inches Seat Height: 14 inches Yes, this is an actual 1940s Herman Miller piece! This was designed by Gilbert Rohde, who basically was the most influential part of the Herman Miller company being a huge part of the mid-century modern era from the late 1930s all the way up through the 1970s. Notice how wide the oval seat on this cool chair is. It can easily sit two people. That’s basically like a swanky version of a loveseat. And the long stretched wing back is actually held up by the extended legs of the chair. Super cool concept. This is an authentic early 1940s piece. It does have the original velvet upholstery which is kind of like a darker canary-yellow. No rips or tears in the upholstery at all. No stains either. And it also does NOT smell like cigarette smoke. You will never find an original Gilbert Rohde slipper chair with the original upholstery. Any of these that you’ll find online or in a high-end vintage store has been salvaged and reupholstered. This is the only one that you’ll find that’s all original and untampered with. And it is still very sturdy. This chair was built like a tank. These authentic Gilbert Rohde slipper chairs, sell online anywhere from $3,200 all the way up to $9,500 just for one of them! Keep in mind this is an original piece that has not been reupholstered. Everything on it is original. I am asking $2,400 for the super cool piece! I can deliver to anywhere in Jacksonville. If you are located outside of Jacksonville, I can deliver this. I charge $60 an hour for my time on the road anywhere outside of Jacksonville to deliver to anywhere in Florida or Georgia. If you’d like to come see this in person, I’m located in Jacksonville, Florida, and the Arlington area near the Matthews Bridge

Set of Five 2/5/7 Vintage Antique Shaker Dining Accent Chairs Old Money Cottage Cabin Farmhouse Nouveau Pauvre Maximalist Eclectic Poirot stood and smoothed the creases out of his trousers. He absentmindedly smoothed his mustache, adjusted his stiff collar, and turned to address the small gathering assembled in the cottage drawing room. That is what you may have thought, madam, Poirot said, nodding toward Mrs. Gable, who sat clutching her handkerchief on the sofa. You believed that because the quiet lady of this cottage lived so simply here in the village, she was a woman of modest, humble origin. And you, Hastings—he gestured toward his companion—assumed that her sudden disappearance meant the worst had occurred. Poirot paused, pointing a neatly manicured finger toward the dining set in the center of the room. Observe, if you will, the little grey cells at work. Look closely at these ladder back chairs. A careless observer sees only rustic wood and woven seats. But Hercule Poirot sees the truth. Examine the solid timber, the elegant sweep of the carved back slats, and the substantial, hand-woven rush seats. These are the hallmarks of genuine, mid-century craftsmanship—honest, sturdy, and handsome. He turned slowly to face the pale young man leaning nervously against the mantelpiece. You, young sir, arrived here expecting to find a hidden fortune. You saw these chairs, recognized the understated elegance of a high-born family, and assumed that a woman living with such pieces must have a vault full of gold. But you failed to understand the concept of the nouveau pauvre. When the grand family fortune vanished years ago, the bank accounts were emptied—yes. But the refined pedigree remained. She kept what truly mattered: pieces of quiet, enduring style built to outlast generations. Poirot chuckled softly, tapping the side of his head. You believed you had successfully done away with her when you staged that little scene by the lane. You thought you were now sole heir to an estate of millions. But the lady was merely away on holiday in Bath. Indeed, I received a cable from her cousin only this morning confirming she is enjoying the mineral waters in perfect health. You rushed here to claim a treasure that did not exist, lured entirely by the silent testimony of honest wood and rush. The fortune was long gone, my friend, but the exquisite taste remained to expose you. There is something inherently grounding about honest craftsmanship. These ladder-back dining chairs are a testament to an era when furniture was built to endure, blending understated Shaker utility with a warm, inviting country farmhouse charm. Manufactured around the 1960s or 1970s (and possibly as early as the 1950s), these are excellent mid-century reproductions of a classic traditional style whose origins date back centuries to the 17th and 18th century rural European and American countryside. This set consists of a core matching set of five chairs (two armchairs and three side chairs). Additionally, I have two somewhat matching side chairs available, making a total set of seven. One of the side chairs in the main group of five has a damaged seat, which could be repaired or stabilized in a number of ways, so I essentially consider it a bonus chair. With this collection, you can easily seat a table of six by pairing the main chairs with the two complementary ones, put together a full set of seven, or even hunt down one more similar piece to build a grand set of eight. Whether arranged together around a sprawling table or split up as striking accent pieces in sunlit corners, these chairs bring immediate warmth and history into a room. They deliver the character and charm that you simply cannot get from mass-produced modern furniture. Perfect for modern farmhouse, English cottage, or eclectic maximalist decor. They will bring just the touch of class and old-money charm you have been searching for, even if you are nouveau pauvre. Style: Vintage / Antique Shaker-Style Ladder-Back Composition: Solid hardwood frames with hand-woven reed/rush seats. Approximate Measurements: Armchairs: Overall height 40 inches Seat height 18 inches Arm height 28 inches Seat width 23 inches Seat depth 19 inches Side chairs: Overall height 43 inches Seat height 18 inches Seat width 21 inches Seat depth 17 inches Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The frames are solid with no loose joints. I have given the chairs a bit of a glow-up using a tinted finishing oil, which leaves them looking fantastic while fully preserving the rich antique patina that gives them their personality. The finish features some factory antiquing, including subtle speckling, while the two somewhat matching side chairs show a bit more intentional distressing. As noted, six of the rush seats are tight, intact, and ready for use, while one side chair seat shows damage and is included as a bonus piece. Individual & Combination Pricing Options (Will Sell Separately): 5-chair set (2 armchairs + 3 side chairs): $195 7-chair collection (2 armchairs + 3 matching side chairs and 2 somewhat matching chairs) $275 4-chair set (2 armchairs + 2 side chairs): $185 Pair of armchairs: $125 Nicer side chairs: $100 Other 2 side chairs: $85 Single armchair: $100 Single side chair: $20 - $45 (based on condition) 3 side chairs: $100 5 Matched up side chairs: $160 4 matched up side chairs: $150 Staged images created with AI for design inspiration. Vintage Steelcase 451 4-Star Base Chairs Matching Pair Olive Green $895 OBO 🫒 Olive/Avocado Green • Chrome 4-Star Bases • Mid-Century Modern • Tufted • Fabric Upholstery and unmistakably 1970s. A fantastic matching pair of vintage Steelcase 451 4-Star Base chairs circa 1975, featuring beautifully period-correct olive/avocado green upholstery, sculpted bucket-style shells and architectural four-star chrome pedestal bases. These are the kind of chairs that can completely change a room. With their low, wide profile, gently sculpted seats and button-tufted backs, they have that unmistakable 1970s Mid-Century Modern / Space Age executive aesthetic. The design is reminiscent of the celebrated modernist executive seating of the Pollock era, while the substantial construction is classic vintage Steelcase. The star here is the color: a wonderfully retro olive/avocado green textured fabric that looks fantastic against the polished chrome bases and black shell surrounds. Each chair features: • Sculpted upholstered bucket seat • Four-button tufted backrest • Original-style olive/avocado textured upholstery • Black molded outer shell • Chrome pedestal • 4-star stationary chrome base with floor glides • Matching construction and upholstery VINTAGE STEELCASE Steelcase has been producing commercial and executive furniture for more than a century, and these chairs come from a particularly great period of American office design when corporate furniture wasnt afraid to have some personality. The silhouette has a definite Pollock-inspired / 1970s executive modernist feel without being a reproduction of a Charles Pollock chair. Put them in a home office, conversation area, living room, creative studio or lounge and they instantly bring some vintage architectural character to the space. APPROXIMATE DETAILS Maker: Steelcase Model: 451 Era: Circa 1970s Style: Mid-Century Modern / Space Age / Executive Modernist Color: Olive / Avocado Green Upholstery: Textured fabric Base: Chrome 4-star stationary pedestal with glides Height: Approx. 34 Length: Approx. 22 Quantity: 2 — sold as a matching pair CONDITION The chairs are in very good vintage condition and present beautifully as a pair. The upholstery retains its fantastic period color and tufted appearance, while the chrome bases show the character and light age-related wear expected from authentic vintage furniture. Please review the photographs closely as they form part of the condition description. WHY BUY ONE WHEN YOU CAN HAVE THE PAIR? Matching vintage seating is becoming increasingly difficult to find, and these two have stayed together. Theyre bold enough to anchor a room without being over-the-top—and the olive green and chrome combination is about as authentically 1970s cool as it gets. Sold together as a matching pair.

I’m selling an iPhone 15 that I bought for myself but then ended up switching phone lines to a new provider altogether. The phone is new, comes with a charger, already has a screen protector applied and has a phone case that acts as a back up battery as well. The phone requires E-SIM but so does literally every new phone made nowadays. Text or call is fine and the phone is available immediately as soon as this post goes up. If I miss your call please shoot me a text letting me know that you’re interested.
