PLEASE TEXT ONLY - I CAN CALL BACK IF NEEDED - THANK YOU FOR THE INTEREST. Item location West LA 90025 zip code near Olympic & Sawtelle. I can also help with delivery within reasonable distance if needed to make an easier sale if you dont have the ability to transport yourself. Brand name is stamped inside the top drawer Landstrom furniture corporation - Rockford Illinois 1879 Google AI says the company went out of business in 1958 so it is at least that old. Probably made in the 30s / 40s / 50s. Dimensions 47 high 37 wide 20.5 deep Solid wood and built like a tank it is 110% sturdy and solid - no cracks breaks wobbles or shakes it was built to last probably has another 100 years left in it easy. Drawers are nice and clean inside - all fully open and close as they should - the drawers themselves are very strong sturdy and supportive - they stay level when fully open not all saggy and weak like some of these older antique dressers. Beautiful color patina and character on this one - freshly painted and ready for a new home. FYI used high quality BEHR Swiss Coffee Enamel - low odor indoor paint specifically made for this type of project - hard drying enamel finish can be scrubbed and washed if needed - it has zero smell and ready to be used now. I still have half a can left i can include it in the sale if you want for future touch ups or if you want to paint another item to match this one ect Pictures were just taken - what you see is exactly what you get. Thanks for the interest --------------------------------------- From google AI AI Mode Conversation You sent: 1 image This charming white-painted vintage chest of drawers features distinctive ornate brass-accented drawer pulls that add a classic touch to its traditional silhouette. • Deja Vu Decors Vintage Dresser Bachelor Chest Shabby Chic Bedside Table ... Vintage Dresser Bachelor Chest Shabby Chic Bedside Table Furniture Console Bedroom Antique Coastal Cottage Farmhouse CUSTOM PAINT ... landstrom furniture please provide brand info estimated age and average price value on the resale market Landstrom Furniture Company was a historic, high-quality manufacturer based in Rockford, Illinois. Known for excellent craftsmanship, the company originally began roots in the late 1800s but officially operated under the name Landstrom Furniture Corporation from 1927 until 1958. 📅 Estimated Age Based on the design—specifically the traditional turned legs, wavy bottom apron, fluted side columns, and distinctive brass decorative backplates—this chest of drawers is estimated to have been manufactured between the late 1920s and the 1930s. It is a beautiful example of their early Colonial Revival or traditional European revival styles. 💰 Resale Market Value Because the original wood finish has been painted over, its value shifts from the fine antique market to the vintage home decor market: • General Peer-to-Peer Market: On local platforms like Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp, a painted Landstrom dresser of this size typically sells between $200 and $400. • Boutique Vintage Retail: In curated antique malls or upscale vintage retail shops, painted or custom-lacquered pieces can fetch between $600 and $1,200 depending on the regional market demand. (Note: Unaltered, premium ribbon-mahogany or mid-century pieces from Landstrom sold via high-end platforms like Chairish or 1stDibs command higher prices between $2,000 and $4,000, but a painted surface limits it to the decorative value brackets mentioned above.) Are you looking to sell this piece, or are you looking to buy or restore it? If youd like, I can give you tips on checking for the original manufacturer stamps inside the drawers to confirm its identity. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
