Working at home all day? Experiencing lower back pain, sciatica, or poor posture? Kneeling chairs open your hip angle and reduce lower back pressure by redistributing about 80% of your weight to the seat and 20% to your shins. The lack of a traditional backrest forces your abdominal and back muscles to engage dynamically. This chair can help relieve sciatica by opening the hip angle and tilting the pelvis forward, which restores the natural curve of the lower back and shifts your body weight away from the spinal discs and sciatic nerve. This chair encourages a natural upright posture by engaging your core muscles and eliminating pressure on your spinal discs, back, and shoulders. This model allows you to adjust the chair height to the perfect position and has casters for easy mobility (you can lock two of them to remain in place). There are no rips/stains on the seat or leg rests. NOTE: I am missing one screw on the bottom of the seat, but I’m sure its easily replaceable, and it does not affect functionality. Not for All-Day Use: Most physical therapists and chiropractors recommend limiting use to short 15-to-30-minute intervals rather than full 8-hour workdays.

This piece is a vintage painting by Mary Gertrude Stockbridge Allen (1869-1949), a prominent figure in the Pacific Northwest art scene. She was based locally in Snohomish County, living and working around Everett and Stanwood. Your painting bears her signature, Mary Allen, legible in the lower-right quadrant just above the fence line.
