This is a Herman Miller Action Office II Series roll-top desk, designed by George Nelson in 1965. This example dates to 1975 and is dated as such. The piece features a rich walnut-veneered tambour, and has a cast aluminum and tubular steel base. It has a laminate worktop and hard plastic accouterments throughout. These typically go for $3,500 to $6,000+ via online sellers. I plan to refinish the top soon and will be adjusting the price accordingly, but posting it now in case there is interest before this work. This desk is 34 inches tall, 54 inches wide and 31 inches deep. The Herman Miller stamp is present. Overall, the piece is in very good condition vintage condition with some wear. Pickup in Richmond/El Cerrito or can arrange delivery for a fee.

Hello Everyone, I can no longer receive Craigslist emails, my contact information is written below**. Thanks. Please be aware of the measurements, I just had someone come by who thought it was a desk. I have a pretty cool 1950s-early 1960s occasional table for the living room that has very unusual legs. The insert is made of a brushed aluminum with a brass tint. The legs unscrew for transport, you could take it to the beach if you’re eccentric like me. The top surface is perfect and is made of a practically bulletproof Formica simulated dark walnut grain. It has some little scratches on the edge and skirt but they’re not terribly noticeable. There are also some dark spots on the metal plating. It’s a unique table, I’ve never seen one like it before. It was made in the US in the late 1950s-early 60s. It’s sturdy and not flimsy in any way. It measures 32 inches long x 22 inches deep x 20 inches tall. For a quick reply Please CALL OR TEXT ME at ** seven o seven, seven nine six, three two nine two. Located in West Petaluma. Cash only please. Thanks

*Made in USA, meaning it has heavier copper windings than Chinese made machines, which gets most of their copper from overseas *Vitamix is family-owned; so, they stand behind their product. *The idea was to make a machine powerful enough to make ice cream. And that led them to add an instant reverse switch; at a maximum 24,000 rpms, ingredients collide at 5O0 mph. *It will grind solid wood into sawdust in seconds. *The breaker will keep it from burning up. *The blades are blunt, unlike most blenders, and the blades crush everything, which is why the pulp does not need to be extracted *The lid is made of unbreakable lexan, and has a new gasket *The 4000 commercial model is at the very top, of all time * At the Washington State fair, Ive witnessed booth demos of vendors making steaming hot soup with their polycarbonate models; they sold for $400 in the late 1990s, going for over $459 today. *This generation is the last one, before they went to polycarbonate *Itll grind grain, make ice cream, smoothies, and bread. *Stainless steel is meant to last forever, and is best for food preparation. *A new rubber gasket for the action dome lid, and a wooden tamper is provided.
