This is a two-year-old used pub table dining set that includes four bar-height swivel stools and is in excellent condition. I am selling it because I am moving to a new apartment that lacks sufficient space. Only cash payments are accepted. Best, Yolanda.

Four Post Twin Bed with Pinecone (“Pineapple”) Finials. This listing is for the wooden bed frame only. The mattress, bedding and other furnishings in the photos are not included. However some are still available, so please inquire if interested. AGE: Great grandma bought this bed at an auction over half a century ago, and it was likely already vintage then. I would estimate it is from the 1930s to 1950s, which would make it close to antique now. The style is colonial revival with turned/carved fluted posts ending in pineapple/acorn/pine cone finials. Both the headboard and footboard feature a curved carved panel, with the footboard also having a classic turned, fluted crossbar. The tapered ball legs sit on small castors. The frame has a dark cherry or mahogany-style finish, with a nice mellow, aged patina. I’m not sure what kind of wood was used— it looks like a light wood under the dark finish. The bed has been broken down. It is currently located at a storage facility in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with carts available for easy transport to your car or van. Pieces included in this lot: Headboard, Footboard, 2 matching (finished) wood side rails (not pictured), 2-3 (unfinished) cross slats (not pictured), original boxspring (optional). Note: the boxspring is original to the bed. It is 70-100 years old, torn, stained and very saggy. You are not obligated to take it, but it is available if you want it. I don’t remember if there are 2 or 3 slats, but at least one more should be added to give better support to your boxspring. This is an easy addition; you just have to rest a plank of the right length and thickness on the carved out ledge on the inside of the rails. Because of the saggy boxspring, the bed was used with two mattresses. This is why the bedspread comes so high on the head and foot boards in the photos. With a good boxspring and/or more slats and just one mattress, much more of the frame would be visible. CONDITION: GOOD vintage condition. The frame is structurally sound. There are superficial scratches to the finish, mostly from when the movers broke the frame down and transported it to storage (see photos). You will need to touch up the finish. (There are DIY kits available.) The optional box spring is in salvage condition; it is not included in the price, and you can take or leave it. SIZE: Antique beds were not made in standard sizes. I have misplaced the measurements I took before this one was broken down, but I recall it was thinner and perhaps also slightly longer or shorter than a standard twin. I will update with the boxspring size once I get a chance to measure it. There are companies that produce custom sized boxsprings and mattresses, but there are also other solutions. We used hospital bed mattresses; RV or cot mattresses might also work. If you have been shopping around, you know these vintage pineapple/pine cone/acorn bed frames go for $700-$900. I listed this one at half that price because it will need a little TLC to deal with the scratches. You will also need special sourcing for the right sized mattress and boxspring. (This is not an issue unique to this bed; most antique beds from the 1950s or earlier do not match today’s standard mattress sizes, but this is very rarely mentioned in other ads that list for more.) PRICE: $350

Restored the large Rocker for my daughter when she was expecting her first child. Chair was restored and professionally upholstered. Restored the second chair for her baby for his 3rd Christmas; it too was professionally upholstered. Slight variance in fabric color between the two because additional upholstery was bought for the second chair and was not a perfect match. They eventually moved to their own home and did not have space for these and I no longer need them. I will only sell these as a set. Price is for the two. Please do not ask me to text or call, I reply only through craigslist email and will not return any requests for calls or texts.
