Selling my daughter’s Young America by Stanley Furniture matching bedroom set, purchased new from HOM Furniture in 2018. Young America was Stanley’s premium children’s/youth furniture line, and comparable sets originally retailed for several thousand dollars. This is substantial, well-made furniture designed specifically for children’s rooms and made to grow with them. The drawers feature a soft-close mechanism: they catch before closing and gently pull themselves shut rather than slamming. COMPLETE SET INCLUDES: * Full-size storage bed with large paneled headboard * Built-in drawers and open storage cubbies along the bed * 3-drawer nightstand * Large 6-drawer dresser * Matching framed mirror * Tall bookcase with adjustable shelving and bottom drawer The bed requires a standard full-size mattress. Mattress is NOT included. CONDITION: This is a used set with normal cosmetic wear from being in a child’s bedroom. The most noticeable blemish is an area on the top of the dresser where it appears a product or chemical affected the finish. There is also a small paint/finish chip on the bed, along with minor scuffs and marks from normal use. Close-up photos of the most significant imperfections are included. All pieces, drawers, and storage areas are fully functional. REASON FOR SELLING: My daughter is grown and has outgrown the bedroom set. We will be remodeling the room once the furniture is gone. PRICE: $950 OBO Prefer to sell the complete set together. IMPORTANT PICKUP INFORMATION: This is heavy, substantial furniture. Buyer is responsible for disassembling the furniture as needed, carrying it out of the room, loading it, and transporting it. The bed will most likely need to be partially disassembled to remove it. Please bring 2-3 capable adults, any tools needed for disassembly, and a vehicle or trailer large enough to transport the complete set.
