Vintage lounge chair by Ib Kofod Larsen for Selig, made in Denmark circa 1960s. This is a mid-century classic, on point in its day and equally so today. The dark stained frame has been refinished and looks great. Cushions have been reupholstered at some point in a dark gray fabric that is in good condition. Seating is quite comfortable, which is not always the case with vintage chairs. It retains the Selig metal badge under the seat cushion. 29.75 wide, 32 deep, 28.75 high, 16 seat height. $1995. 2. A timeless mix of tradition and comfort, this Ming-style horseshoe armchair adds sculptural charm to any space. Inspired by classic Chinese design, it features a gently curved crest rail, clean lines, and traditional joinery that give it a balanced, minimalist look. The exposed wood frame, likely elm, has a warm, natural finish that shows off the beautiful grain. The curved back flows seamlessly into the arms, creating an inviting silhouette with both visual appeal and ergonomic ease. A flared center backrest nods to historical Chinese furniture, while the tailored blue tatami-style seat and soft matching back cushion bring in a modern, cozy touch. Whether you use it as an accent chair, in a tea corner, or as a reading spot, this piece blends heritage style with everyday comfort. Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. Cushions are clean and gently used. 27.75 wide, 23.5 deep, 32.75 high, and 18.5 seat height. $450. 3. Vintage low back scoop lounge chair by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates circa 1960s. Pearsall designs are known for their distinctive walnut legs, and this piece is no exception. Its got great legs, a cool low profile and beautiful walnut-topped arms, very stylish while still quite comfortable. Its been newly reupholstered in Knoll Rebel fabric in color tourmaline, and the legs and trim have been refinished. Its a fantastic vintage chair ready for many more years of use. 31 wide, 31 deep, 28.25 high, 17 seat height. $3195. 4. Vintage mid-century teak slipper chair made in the U.K. by Parker Knoll circa 1970s. It features a low-profile teak frame with a one-piece seat and back, all attached with no loose cushions. It has been reupholstered in H.B.F. Merci Boucle fabric in color Dijon. Although the seat height is quite low, the chair is surprisingly comfortable and in good condition. 20 wide, 27.5 deep, 29.5 high, 14.5 seat height. $850. 5. Fantastic vintage rocking swivel barrel chair designed by Milo Baughman and manufactured by Thayer Coggin circa 1970s. This lounge chair features a wonderfully enveloping shape with thick rounded arms, a deep, loungey seat, and a concealed swivel rocker base with a polished metal plinth that gives it a subtle floating appearance. The chair has been newly upholstered in Knoll Seurat fabric in the Parade colorway, a richly textured multicolor textile inspired by pointillism painting techniques. The woven fabric presents as green, but up close it combines shades of yellow and blue, giving the chair incredible visual depth and a sophisticated look that feels both vintage and contemporary. A striking and comfortable accent chair for a living room, reading corner, office, or bedroom, the chair swivels and rocks smoothly, making it as functional as it is cool. The chair presents beautifully overall, with some minor wear to the base that is hardly noticeable. Please note that the seating position is somewhat reclined and sits back farther than some people may prefer. 29 wide, 30 deep, 26 high, and 18.5 seat height. $2695. 6. This sculptural Adrian Pearsall lounge chair showcases the dramatic, organic curves and architectural walnut base that define Pearsall’s most celebrated mid-century designs. The interior features a distinctive channel-back that emphasizes the flowing silhouette while adding comfort, structure, and visual rhythm. The chair has been newly reupholstered in a sophisticated two-fabric combination: Nobilis Arctique on the seat and inner back, a soft, textured, pale beige upholstery, and Knoll Ita on the back and sides, a crisp black-and-white geometric textile that complements and highlights the sculptural profile. Together, they elevate the piece while remaining true to its mid-century character. There is no remaining Craft Associates label, but the original upholstery we replaced was entirely consistent with fabrics commonly found on authenticated Adrian Pearsall pieces. The walnut base retains its rich tone and striking presence, showing only minor wear consistent with age. Structurally sound and newly upholstered, the chair is ready for immediate placement in a living room, reading corner, or design-forward interior. Condition is excellent, with brand-new high-end upholstery and a solid, stable frame. Minor, age-appropriate wear to the walnut legs consistent with vintage use. 33.5 wide, 33 deep, 34.5 high, and 16 seat height. $4295. 7. A handsome vintage oak rocking chair with strong Arts & Crafts and Mission style character. This piece features a solid oak frame with broad flat arms and beautifully woven cane panels at the back and seat. The warm oak grain is especially attractive across the arms and frame, giving the chair a sturdy yet refined presence. The chair has been fitted with new, custom leather cushions in a rich saddle brown tone with contrasting black piping, adding comfort while complementing the warmth of the oak. The combination of cane, oak, and leather gives this rocker an inviting, timeless look that works beautifully in Craftsman, rustic, traditional, lodge, or eclectic interiors. In very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear to the oak frame, including scattered surface marks, finish wear, and small blemishes consistent with use, most notably on one arm. Cane is intact and presents well. New leather cushions are in excellent condition. A sturdy and attractive vintage piece overall. 29” wide, 31” deep, 31 high, and 18 seat height. $1295. 8. Beautiful vintage mid-century high back lounge chair designed by Gerhard Berg, made in Norway by L.K. Hjelle circa 1950s. This piece features a lovely form with high back, carved teak paws inset on the arms and tall teak legs. It has been newly reupholstered in a lightly textured orangish red fabric, with button tufting and an adjustable or removable headrest. Its a very nice piece in very good condition. 29.5 wide, 33 deep, 39.5 high, 17 seat height. $3495. 9. Vintage mid-century high back lounge chair made in the U.K. by Parker Knoll circa 1960s. It features an African mahogany frame with seat and high back upholstered in original plush green fabric, and the seat cushion is reversible and quite comfortable. There are several areas of wear to the frame and a couple of worn corners on the upholstery, but it still looks nice and is very much usable as is. 26.5 wide, 31.5 deep, 36.5 high, 18 seat height. $495. 10. Pair of mid-century Danish bear lounge chairs and matching ottomans designed by Bent Møller Jepsen and manufactured by Simo in Denmark. These chairs are reminiscent of the Wegner Papa Bear chair, and they look great from every angle. The original owner bought them in the late 1950s in Denmark and at some point, had them reupholstered in an age-appropriate orange fabric, probably wool. They have button tufting on the backs, reversible seat cushions, round tapered legs, exposed teak at the ends of the arms and custom matching fabric arm covers that protect the fabric underneath, but dont cover the teak. The ottomans are gently curved to match the front of the chairs and are covered in brownish-orange leather. One chair retains its Simo, Denmark badge on the inside of the frame. They are usable as is or would be amazing reupholstered. Theyre in good overall condition except for the foam on the chairs, which would benefit from being changed out for new foam. The seats dip down a bit and would also benefit from new straps. The chairs are 34 wide, 37 deep, 40.5 high, and 15.5 seat height. The footstools are 24 wide, 15.5 deep, and 13.25 high. $5995 for both sets. Reviews: -Great experience with Morgan. Came in looking for 2 mattresses, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter who is just finishing college and needs a grown up bed. 11/20/23 He was super patient and knowledgeable, helping me find things that fit in my budget. The shop is tight, but totally packed with options from the best names. I felt confident both in his service but also the mattresses he had. 11/10/23 I found 1 for each of us, had them delivered next day. Delivery was prompt and courteous. They unwrapped my mattress and put it in my frame and hauled my old 1 away. But it wasn’t quite right for me. So a week later, I came back. He helped me try a few 10 or so lolmore to make sure I was getting the right fit based on my feedback of my old bed and the 1 I needed to exchange. 11/4/23 Made it all work, redelivered the new mattress, and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg for any of it. I will definitely send people here. And hopefully he’s around in another 7-10 years when I need my next bed. Thanks Morgan! Rachael 10/3/23 -Great people, great customer service. Richard helped us out and did such a great job finding the perfect mattress! Morgan was so sweet in working with us and bringing us the bed same night. I’m almost 9 months pregnant so getting the mattress same night was so important. Pricing is so amazing here, 100/10 recommended for every 1 looking for a good priced mattress. Mad B. 10/2/23 -Shout out to Richard for helping my wife and I look for a new mattress! The selection is amazing and the customer Service was top notch they are even delivering it after hours! Above and beyond will highly recommend to my family and friends Eli 10/2/23 -Best place in Portland to get a mattress on a budget. They have a large variety of mattresses to choose from. Everything from Purple mattresses to Sealy mattresses and many more. Stop by and check them out before you go to the over priced mattress stores. Lastly, they’ll deliver your new mattress and remove your old 1 Drake 9/28/23 -Morgan was extremely helpful in getting us 22 new mattresses delivered before I arrived to my new home in Gresham. After 2 days of driving when all I wanted to do was collapse in a brand new bed, Morgan made it all happen over the phone within the same business day. He’s got a great selection of some top-tier labelsTempurpedic, KLUFT!and made it all happen with excellent service and communication. Cannot recommend Morgan’s Mattresses enough! 11/10 Armando 9/24/23 -You know the feeling when a business exceeds your expectations? Its kind of a rare thing these days, but it seems like standard operating mode at Morgans Mattresses. From the moment I walked in, Morgan was on a mission to help me find the perfect mattress. He listened to what I was looking for, worked within my budget, and I ended up with a great deal on a high quality mattress that was delivered the same dayand they hauled my old 1 away so I didnt have to deal with it. I had kept putting off mattress shopping because I assumed it would be a hassle, but Morgan made the whole process so easy. He runs his business with integrity, kindness and expertise, and provides great value to his customers. He went above & beyond, like it was no big deal. Have already recommended this place to others. Thanks again, Morgan! Lenka 9/20/23 -My partner and I wanted to shop local and we passed by Morgans mattresses daily. When we arrived we were greeted by Morgan and immediately he got to work! After looking at a couple mattresses I told him how most of the time we sit on the edge of our bed to watch TV so we need a lot of side support. And with that he started bringing us mattresses with extra side support. And thats when we fell in love with our mattress! Very friendly very quick. After reviewing our address gave us a fair price for delivering the mattress and was able to deliver it same day! If you need a mattress go see Morgan at Morgans mattresses! Teri 9/2/23 -I’m glad that I went here to buy my mattress, the guy that helped me was so friendly and super nice and kind, he helped pick out the best mattress for me !!! Also they offer same day/ or next day delivery which is awesome! Highly recommend! Yulita 5/15/23 -We needed a bed and we needed 1 quick, we recently moved into a studio on the 3 rd floor and Morgan himself and 1 of his helpers got our queen bed up the narrow flight of winding stairs, not only that but Morgan and his employees gave great customer service, and even gave us an amazing deal on a more expensive mattress so that it fit our budget!Delivery included!Needless to say I am very impressed and very thankful! Thank you Morgan’s Mattresses! Jessica 5/2/23 -These guys are fantastic. I so feel lucky to have found this business. Morgan is so h 1 st and very clearly wants to do his best for his customers, and it shows. Before you buy a mattress here, do your research and find a model that you love, then come to Morgan. I stayed at a rental home and fell in love with the mattress we had there. I called up Morgan, and he had 1 in stock. I went to check it out in the afternoon at 3:30 pm and no later than 7 pm it was delivered to my home, moved in, and set up. I got everything I neededmattress, box spring, bed frame, deliveryfor less than half of what it would have cost me to buy directly through the brand. What a great experience - Ill be referring every 1 I know here! Emily 2/17/23 -Amazing place to get a bed. Bj 1 s 03/27/21 -Morgan will take care of you. We actually didnt end up getting a mattress from here but Morgan did everything he could to help us. We just couldnt find 1 that would fit us. If they dont have what you are looking for in-store, he will see what they have in the wherehouse. Dont hesitate to stop by and see what they have, their stock changes constantly. Mark 03/26/21 -My fiancé and I went to a big mattress store before checking out Morgans and are SO glad that we purchased from here instead. There is no big show room and the parking was a little tight but the prices and customer service was worth it! We ended up buying a cali king TempurPedic mattress after looking at some king beds they had. James and another gentlemen were super helpful and not pushy at all. We put the majority down and financed a small amount but the process was easy and we have slept better in the last week than we have in years. We have already recommended Morgans to a friend and will continue to! Carleigh 03/04/21 -Cant recommend this place enough. We got a screaming deal on a Tempur Pedic and he delivered just a couple hours later. Very friendly, very positive experience. Id easily recommend this place to my friends and family. Allen 02/05/21 -Small shop, but the best deals Ive seen. And they do credit for lower income households. Have bought 2 beds from them. Will definitely go back if I need more and will recommend to every 1. Angelique 01/16/21 -Dont even bother shopping at other stores.seriously!Just go see Morgan and Jay and Richard. Or call ahead if youve shopped and you know what model youre looking for - its a smallish store; but, with a warehouse nearby, they can probably get you exactly what you want. The prices and service will definitely make you happy! Im actually pretty proud of the deal I got: I saved many hundreds off retail! Delivery was reasonable, on time, by Morgan himself, and he took my old mattress away. H 1 stly, this was the best big-item purchase Ive made in a long time: my new Stearns and Foster was both a splurge and a bargain and Im extremely satisfied and SLEEPING GREAT! - Thank You SO MUCH Guys!
