Selling a set of 4 antique oak pressed back chairs with cane seats and sculptured wood seat backs. $40 for the set of 4. Felt pads have been affixed to the bottom of each chair leg to aid in sliding and to protect wood floors. These were probably made around the turn of the last century (1900s?). These have been in our family the entire time and have served us well. The chairs are in good condition. They are 40 to the top of the back spindle and 17 to the top of the seat. Each has a cane seat, with one needing repairing (replacement cane material typically costs around $20 and can be easily done...see YouTube has videos on replacing cane seats). From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Please see the attached photos and let us know if you have questions or would like additional photographs. Thank you for your interest.

For Sale, a really cool Walnut Side Table measuring approximately 20 x 19 x 23 3/4H. This is one of two pieces that my dad commissioned from a custom furniture maker but never had a chance to use because before either piece was delivered, he began having health issues that forced him to move into assisted living and he passed away not long after, so it was placed in storage and has never actually been used. This table was built entirely out of salvaged solid walnut through a technique called slab lamination where dozens of layers of wood are milled, carefully arranged, glued/laminated together and then carved and shaped by hand to create a sculptural design. It is constructed out of a combination of Black Walnut salvaged from a storm fallen treeand salvaged English Walnut that came from an old orchard tree that had to be removed due to disease. The lighter English walnut is used exclusively in the table’s top and the very bottom base layer which creates a beautiful subtle contrast with the darker Black Walnut in the rest of the base. The grain in the top is amazing and has a little bit of everything, some quilting, flame, and swirling figured patterns that are reminiscent of a settling pint of Guiness beer. The entire table was finished with a non-toxic, low VOC, penetrating hard oil-wax finish that seals, enhances and protects the wood from the inside out. On top of that several coats of a highly protective ceramic nano-finish were applied to both enhance the wood and further protect it from heat, liquid and scratching. My Dad paid $1900 for this beautiful table and was NEVER able to use it. In accordance with his wishes, I am only asking $850 in hopes of honoring my dads request of finding it a good home that will appreciate all of the time and effort that went into its design.
