Giddy up. Looking for a Front of House Shift Leader to join our Main Street team. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, leads by example, and can keep things running smoothly while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Schedule & Pay: Shifts: Weekdays & weekends as needed Wages: $18.20 to start Tips: Paid hourly based on hours worked Reports to: Front of House General Manager About the Role The FOH Shift Leader supports the FOH Manager in overseeing day-to-day front-of-house operations. You’ll help manage service flow, support the team on shift, and uphold Cream Pony’s customer service standards. During shifts, you’ll typically oversee 2–4 part-time FOH staff, set the tone on the floor, and help create a great guest experience. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee daily FOH service including web/app orders, dine-in, and takeout -Keep the floor, patio, and guest areas clean, organized, and stocked -Manage customer flow, wait times, and guest experience -Communicate key shift updates (sold-outs, pre-orders, notes) -Delegate tasks and support the FOH team during service -Resolve customer concerns calmly and professionally -Follow Cream Pony customer service standards and policies -Ensure responsible alcohol service in line with regulations -Complete shift checklists and support inventory or ordering notes as needed -Supervisory Responsibilities -Support training and onboarding of new FOH staff -Coach and encourage team members on shift -Lead by example in service, cleanliness, and teamwork -Promote strong communication between FOH and BOH -Report feedback, incidents, or concerns to the FOH Manager -Understand and support the Cream Pony BOH work mentality Experience: 1+ year in a restaurant, café, or retail setting Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred Required: Serving It Right certification How to Apply Send a short introduction and your experience (resume optional but appreciated) to Karolina@creampony.ca.
