Program Coordinator
About The Healing Project The Healing Project is a non-profit dedicated to providing peace and hope for families navigating the profound loss of a loved one. We offer restorative retreats in peaceful, private settings where families can step away from daily stressors to honor their grief and rediscover beauty together. We provide resources and recommendations to help guests remember their loved one, but how they spend their time during their stay is entirely up to them. We currently rent homes for guests along the northern Oregon Coast, but are actively searching for a dedicated property for The Healing Project. Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to manage our core program logistics while assisting in our transition to a permanent home. This role starts with administrative and coordination duties, but offers opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities. This will include providing items at the home for guests prior to their arrival (e.g., groceries, books, journals, etc.). Future Opportunities As The Healing Project evolves, this role has the potential to expand to include: • Property Search & Setup: Assisting with the search for a dedicated property, as well as the furnishing and initial setup of the home. • Maintenance & Oversight: Once the property is established, you will oversee its ongoing care, either performing light maintenance or coordinating with local businesses (e.g., landscaping, cleaning, etc.). • Operations: If interested, potential to help with additional responsibilities for operations of the organization, including fundraising efforts, event planning, and communications. Qualifications • Strong organizational and communication skills. • A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to supporting families in grief. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple administrative tasks. • Flexibility in schedule • Reliable vehicle To Apply: Please send a brief summary of your interest and relevant experience/resume.
