This restored Hans Olsen for Frem Rolje roundette dining set (yes, the one where the chairs tuck perfectly into the round table like a Danish-designed magic trick) is a show-stopper. Carefully restored to its original painted white finish, the table gleams with the same charm it had when it first turned heads in the 1960s. The restoration was done with a light touch—preserving authenticity while giving it new life. Seats four comfortably, impresses endlessly. Perfect for: design lovers, smaller dining spaces, and anyone who wants their dinner guests to say “wait...the chairs do what?!” In all my years of furniture restoration, this is the only painted version of these Ive ever come across - so its as rare as it is impressive. Mid-century form, timeless function. DIMENSIONS: 41.75ʺ round by 29.5 high - seat height is 17 high CHAIRS: Blue vinyl seats/backs are vintage with a small amount of patina/wear but still in great condition after being cleaned and reconditioned too...Id say a 9 out of 10. OVERALL CONDITION: Recently restored and given a new protective finish to both protect this beauty for the next 30+ years and give it a lovely, period-correct satin sheen. As with all vintage furniture, there are some small signs of wear/patina throughout that I have already addressed/blended...this one presents quite lovely though.
