We are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for our trucking division based in Quincy, California. About the Position Truck tire repair and mount and dismount tires Perform service and minor repairs of trucks including change wheel seals, brake jobs, repair lights, oil and filter changes, and wiring Maintaining maintenance records and performing safety inspections on trucks and trailers Perform preventative and routine maintenance on diesel trucks, pickup trucks, log trailers, and semi-trailers Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and maintain maintenance records Operate equipment as needed Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner Maintain work area appearance and safety Heavy lifting and work in both hot and cold work environments Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times Qualifications Working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines and the above-menti 1 d vehicles required 1 year of diesel mechanic experience or educational equivalent preferred Preference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experience Recent mechanic or service experience with trucks and trailers preferred Knowledge of Cummins Insite and Davie diagnostic tools a plus We look for applicants with recent good work history and verifiable references All applicants must be at least age 18 Why Join Our Team?
