Drexel Mahogany Buffet, Travis Court Collection, Made in Nov 1949. This nice piece, which is all mahogany, was antiqued to green long ago. I’ve had the piece for ~ 27 years in its present condition. In great shape. This piece has a very nice patina and a stately ambiance about it. The Travis Court Collection is historically regarded as one of Drexel’s finest and most sought after designs along with their Cartlon Cherry Collection. I’ve included a picture of the original piece - a beautiful and well crafted unit - with a handsome unique 2 handled solid mahogany Butler’s Serving Tray, 2 small drawers - one felt lined with dividers, a full width drawer and double doors below opening to a spacious storage space with a full length half shelf as well. A great looking and functional piece as is, or it could be stripped and refinished back to its original mahogany finish. Get in touch and add this stylish piece to get that room complete.

This is a vintage, Persian Hosseinabad runner that was hand knotted in Iran of 100 percent natural wool on a cotton foundation in the Hamadan Region of Iran. This rug is 70+ years old, has medium wool piles and is in excellent condition for its age. The richly saturated deep navy field is adorned with a rhythmic series of stylized floral medallions, delicate blossoms, scrolling vines, and geometric botanical motifs, all rendered in a harmonious palette of soft salmon, ivory, turquoise, forest green, and warm earth tones. Authentic Persian Hosseinabad runners remain among the most desirable village weavings from the Hamadan district, offering connoisseurs and designers a perfect balance of decorative beauty and lasting durability. This rug was acquired from an established rug merchant. Clean and ready to be enjoyed. FREE SHIPPING FOR THIS RUG WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Please see all of our rugs, book sets, fine art and Asian art at www.rug-auction.com. Hosseinabad rugs are a type of Persian rug originating from the Hosseinabad village in the Hamadan province. These rugs are highly sought after for their unique designs and exceptional craftsmanship, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Hosseinabad rugs typically feature bold geometric patterns, including diamonds, hexagons, and octagons. The colors used in these rugs are usually rich and vibrant, with red, blue, and green being the most common. The rugs are hand-knotted using high-quality wool, which makes them durable and long-lasting. One of the most distinctive features of Hosseinabad rugs is their size. They are usually larger than other types of Persian rugs, with some measuring up to 12 feet in length. Despite their size, Hosseinabad rugs are incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of settings, including living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, Hosseinabad rugs also have historical significance. The village of Hosseinabad has been producing rugs for over 500 years, and the rug-making tradition is deeply ingrained in the local culture. As such, Hosseinabad rugs are not only beautiful works of art but also a testament to the rich history and cultural heritage of Persia. Overall, Hosseinabad rugs are a must-have for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance and history to their home décor. With their bold designs, vibrant colors, and exceptional craftsmanship, these rugs are sure to be a cherished addition to any collection.
