Præsentation af Ditchit - Den Ultimative Lokale Markedsplads!
The lead picture speaks for itself. This is a very high end dresser. I think the style is called “Queen Ann.” It has three quarter-inch “nicks” on the left top edge where it probably rubbed against the moving van’s sides when it was moved to Nevada. These are easily matched and covered It has one blemish of the right rear leg which is about the size of a thumb print. ( Looks like a greasy or waxy thumb touched the leg so the finish didn’t take. It can be easily matched and covered. I didn’t want to cover these flaws bkz that would essentially misrepresent the piece. However, to an uncritical eye the chest looks perfect.) It sat in my neighbor’s guest room for about 20 years. I priced the dresser by doing a search on the Google Shopping app. https://www.google.com/shopping? Search terms: “Dresser, Cherry Wood, Pediment Highboy Chest Model 605-100” Without doing an exact calculation, the average price of these high-end dressers was about $1500 without tax and shipping charges. You can also do a similar search on Ebay using the terms “Dresser Chest Cherry” Dimensions: Height 76” Width 38.5” Depth 17” The sale is due to the medical necessity of replacing a luxury bed and this matching dresser with a hospital bed and medical equipment. Cash only. Buyer must transport. Due to a bad back I can’t help move it. I don’t know the weight but it took the best efforts of two strong men to move it.
