Duties Include: Program Prevention and Support Activities: Assist in the planning and implement on-going weekly youth programming and activities including but not limited to weekday/ weekend youth center activities, numerous special events, youth support group co-facilitation and using the youth calendar, personal invitations, weekly memo, newsletter, and any other methods of communication to enhance participation in Youth Center programming. Recreation/Sports: Assist in outdoor activities that provide positive, alternative-to-use activities, including but not limited to hiking, camping, rock climbing and rappelling, and water sports. In addition, support additional team sports, such as basketball, by helping at practices and tournaments. Cultural Activities: Support program by assisting in planning and implementation of culturally events and trips for youth such as cultural arts, song and dance and canoe experiences.
