The Unitarian Church of Evanston (UCE) holds its annual rummage sale this weekend: Friday, May 1 from 9am-5pm through Saturday, May 2 from 9am-1pm at 1330 Ridge in Evanston. Whether you’re a seasoned rummage sale shopper or a newbie, you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind sale. There’s something for everyone – housewares, treasures, clothing, boutique items, children’s clothing & toys, artwork, small/medium furniture, jewelry, durable goods, bicycles, and bakery treats from Café Rummage! May 1st is also May Day Strong, a national call for No Work, No School, No Shopping! The Unitarian Church of Evanstons Rummage Sale Team invites you to support May Day Strong by avoiding corporate shopping and instead supporting UCEs Rummage Sale. UCE stands in solidarity with the May Day Strong call to action - to reduce to corporate profits and to instead reuse and repurpose resources and build community by shopping locally.
