Striking pair of vintage mid-century modern split-seat swivel bucket chairs upholstered in fabulous distressed dark brown leather, manufactured by the Burke Division of Brunswick Corporation during the 1960 s. Inspired by the iconic Space Age designs of the era, these chairs blend sleek, sculptural geometry with functional lounge comfort. These space-age chairs feature a low-slung, wraparound bucket seat design tailored for comfort. The entire seating shell is fully upholstered in a durable, distressed dark brown leather that features light wrinkling and soft pleating along the interior curves, typical of vintage padded leather work from this era. The armrests flow seamlessly out of the backrest in a single continuous curve, creating an inviting, pod-like form that hugs the sitter. The shell is supported by Burkes signature heavy cast-aluminum 4-star propeller-style swivel pedestal base, which flares gracefully out into 4 distinct feet for stability. A smooth mechanical swivel mechanism is integrated directly into the upper post of the pedestal base, allowing the bucket seat to rotate 360 degrees. This stunning Koch and Lowy brass floor lamp would be a great addition to your Mid Century or Modern design scheme. The lamp expands from 42 high to 53 high and has a dimmer switch with an LED tube bulb that works perfectly. The lamp will age to a slightly darker brass color over time, but there are no corrosion or rust spots and there is no heavy dark patina. The brass base is 10 and has a very heavy base w 8 to keep the lamp stable. This is a beauty. You wont be disappointed. Pick up in Saint AnthonyNortheast Minneapolis. – great freezer IF IT’S SO GREAT, WHY AM I SELLING IT? Because it wasn’t supposed to be a freezer. One of my dog-sitting clients had 2 large refrigerators and 2 large freezers that all looked alike. As part of her divorce. her now-ex-husband was permitted to come to the house and get some things, including one of the matching sets of fridge/freezer. He asked what she was going to do with the other set and she told him (name) was taking the freezer and she had promised the fridge to me as partial payment for all of the packing and moving work I’d done for her. When I got there to pick it up, ‘the fridge’ was standing in the same place it always had been, so my muscle helper loaded it into my truck. I took it home, unloaded it, washed it out, got it moved into my kitchen and plugged it up. The next day I had an appointment I had to head out to, so I put a gallon of water in ‘the fridge’ and left. Since I have been without a refrigerator for years, I was so excited to know that when I got back I would have cool water to drink. When I opened the door of ‘the fridge’ what I found, instead, was a frozen-solid gallon of water. I thought that must have happened because the temperature knob looked like it was turned almost all the way and there was no other food in the fridge, so I turned the temperature knob the other way, put a couple of small water bottles in ‘the fridge’ as testers and waited another day. They, too, froze solid. I checked the brand and model number online, and that’s how I discovered the ex-husband had switched out the 2nd freezer and put it in the spot where my intended refrigerator had been. I don’t know who ended up with a fridge instead of the freezer they wanted, but someone did – or, maybe the ex-husband took the 2nd fridge, too. It’s in great shape, and the hinges are on the right-hand side, if that info’s important to you. It’s a Frigidaire ‘Energy Star’ From the Electrolux Home Products company. Model #LFFH20F3QWC Serial #WB706553827 34” W 71-72” H 30-1/4” D not counting the handle (The door has to be removed to get it out of my back door.) It’s white and there is no little kids crayon art on it. There are two wire shelves and two large baskets and 6 shelves on the door. The indoor overhead light is a nice size and works. The front protective pieces for the shelves are still on all of the door shelves. However, there is a small curved bit removed from the shelf itself of the three bottom doors, which I didn’t understand until I called the client. The handyman who brought ‘the fridge’ inside for me said he could screw some small strips of sealed wood in to fill in those spaces. I contacted my client about the situation, she could hardly believe what I told her; but, she asked if there were curves cut out of the bottom three door shelves. When I said yes, that confirmed the ex had, indeed, taken my fridge and put this freezer in its place. She said they had had a beer company, so they had removed a small curved bit from the three bottom door shelves so a keg could fit on the bottom shelf. She said that’s why the temperature gauge had been turned down so much, so the beer would stay very cold but not freeze. You need to bring your own truck, muscle and hand cart – but, please come quickly. I need a refrigerator and there’s now this great freezer standing in the spot I had cleared for the fridge. $200
