They have a backing fabric in front of the wood frame and a tightly woven cotton outer fabric that looks classy. There is absolutely no exposed insulation material. The insulation itself is 3 depth Rockwool SafeNSound, which is specifically designed for sound dampening. The backs have screw in eye rings and steel cable that can be used to hang them, and installing more or moving them is super easy. Theyre quite light, with the largest panels weighing about 9lbs. They can easily be supported by screws, or even with command hooks if necessary (I know from experience.) I made these panels to fashion a recording booth in my old apartment which worked tremendously and was a lot of fun to work in, but unfortunately after moving I dont have a space that I can use to record anymore. Priced below the cost of materials because I know whoever purchases these will appreciate them and put them to good use. They were a lot of fun to research and craft, and genuinely made for a night and day difference in audio fidelity. With them I was able to bring an echoey walk in closet down to a -60db noise floor with crisp clarity. Only selling as a set, not individual panels. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

One (1) bookcase left (the other on the left side of the photo is sold), so the one with the drop-down desk is still available. Modular, classic 1960s Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern modular wall units/ookcases, including desk. Both pieces are in excellent, like new condition as they were kept in a sitting room off a bedroom. Each unit measures: 76 High (64), 27 Wide x 12 Deep (The shelves themselves are 25-1/2 wide). They resemble the iconic Poul Hundevad or Unitex designs, Typically crafted from teak or rosewood (not exactly sure which wood they are but a beautiful soft medium brown in color). They have adjustable shelving. The one unit on the right in the photos includes a drop-down secretary/desk, which has brass hinges and can be closed up when not in use (see photos). It also includes built-in vertical partitions perfect for organizing records, books or mail. There are lower closed cabinets on both bookcases. The doors are held firm with magnets. $550 for the cabinet on the left SOLD $650 for the cabinet on the right which has the drop-down desk. Payment must be cash or PayPal. These units are of the highest quality and of real value. They are heavy in weight and you will need to bring them down thru the sitting room down a flight of about 6 steps and out the front living room door. It will take two people to move these.
