Striking vintage high-back armchair, upholstered in plush mustard gold crushed velvet. Features a dramatically tall, button-tufted backrest, contoured side arms, and a scalloped lower aproned frame. This piece embodies the peak of 1960s–1970s Hollywood Regency design. The solid wood legs feature elegant traditional turning and a rich warm finish with subtle distress detailing. In very good vintage condition. Upholstery displays authentic texture and color variations characteristic of vintage crushed velvet. Cushion holds shape well, and the frame is sturdy and comfortable. Authentic late-19th-century Victorian Eastlake table featuring a tall tiered form, pierced floral cutwork, scalloped apron and decorative architectural legs. Wonderful little display table with two lower shelves — ideal for a lamp, plant, sculpture or other decorative piece. The table has been refinished at some point in its life and currently has a dark reddish-brown finish. It retains a very attractive antique appearance and is sturdy and ready to use. Some expected age and surface wear remains. A particularly decorative example of the Eastlake style and a great size for an entry, parlor, living room or beside a chair. Antique — circa 1880s–1890s.
