Job Description: Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper Job Type: Part-time, hourly Compensation: $17.13 Additional Compensation: 30% Pooled Tips, employee discounts on food, beer, cider, and merch Work Location: Edison, Washington Working days: Friday, Saturday, Sundary (potential for additional days) Hours per week: 16-30 Terramar Brewstillery is a locally focused brewery, cidery, distillery, serving wood fire pizzas, small bites, and salads using the best ingredients from the Skagit Valley. We offer a collaborative, positive, and friendly work environment. We are looking to hire a hard-working dishwasher/kitchen helper to clean, stock, and maintain the kitchen. Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work well with and learn from others. Must be able to work weekends. Job Responsibilities: • Properly wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards. • Neatly put away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places. • Removing garbage and recycling, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans. • Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required. • Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards. • May be asked to help with prep work • Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies. • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies • Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks. Qualifications/Skills: • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day • Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves • Follows directions and instructions • Communicate and work well as a team member • Positive attitude and flexibility is a must • Reliable Transportation • Mandatory weekend availability • Washington state food handlers’ card If this sounds like the job for you and you would like to join a great team, please apply.
