This tall, somewhat oversized vintage 1940s table lamp is in perfect workingorder, has been rewired and tested repeatedly. Stiffel shade, one damaged area on the backside. My terrible photos don’t do it justice. It’s complete, sparkling clean and has a wonderful patina on the real silver plating. Silver plated lamps I’m familiar with because I’ve seen a lot of vintage and antique lighting over the past 60 years. It was very popular in the 1940s for its elegant look. Inside the glass on the base it has a bright mirror like effect, hightening the overall silvery look. The glass is real crystal, spun in a “paste” mold while still molten. The designs are all cut by hand. This was an expensive light in its time. It makes a statement because of it’s look and size. It measures 35 inches tall, base is 7 inches in diameter.
