What we have here is a 56 year old US Post Office rest bar or lean stand from The Bunting Co. They are famous for making classic outdoor furniture, specifically metal lawn gliders. They also contracted to make industrial furniture and pieces for Federal use. This one came from the USPS and was used at a sorting station. They are designed to take the weight off of your back and legs while standing. They were built to withstand 24/7 use and are thus made to last for generations. It would fit well into an industrial home renovation or for use at a drafting table. The seat leans in 4 positions or flat. The inclined foot rest has 7 positions to adjust for how you want to position your body. Lastly, the seat height can be raised and lowered depending on whether you want to work sitting or standing (or leaning). It has a very heavy base for stability. Yes! We still have the couch, next question. It’s very heavy and you may want to arrange to have help loading it. I will delete the ad within an hour of it being sold. We asked Alta Pest Control to treat for mice, where we were going to have to store things in the garage. The tech told me he would not put the traps in the garage because that would draw mice IN to the garage. I believed him and I uncovered the sofa a couple days before a buyer who was going to pay $150 for it, was coming. No damage was on it when I uncovered it. If you want to have it reupholstered (KAD in Georgetown on Williams Dr. is great) or just put a cover over it, this is so comfortable. A mouse chewed several holes around the center console - see photos. We put a trap in the garage and caught the mouse. From a non-smoking home. 2-recliner sofa. Two Drink and remote holders in center console. Very comfortable and lays back to your comfort level. There are some small existing holes in the back, new holes caused by mice by the center arm rest (see pix 5 & 6 - they are of the same spot) and one on the left side as you are facing it. If that arm is against a wall, no one would see it. Color looks like photo 1 in front of brick wall. It’s 7’ wide x 33” x 36” tall at highest point. Delivery fee to your curb is based on distance and time round trip at $35/hr. No cashiers cheques or shipping agents. PayPal , Venmo or cash is acceptable. NOTE: Listing will be deleted once item is sold. Most inquiries as to whether it is still available turn out to be spammers so Im now ignoring those. Pretend you asked if its available, I said, yes and then ask your question. Dont ask me to write you at a personal email address. The craigslist method works just fine.
