A pair of classic mid-century inspired Scandinavian design, ‘Norman’ style counter height bar stools. Made of veneered Walnut. Top of the seat back height is 40-7/8”. Curved seat is approx. 26” high x approx. 17-1/8” wide. The back rest is approx. 16-1/8” wide. The first 4 photos are of my counter bar stools, the last 6 photos are from Rove Concepts website. Why is this stool called ‘The Norman’? It is named after Norman Cherner, (1920-1987), who was a multidisciplinary designer who explored the Bauhaus movement and became a well-known pioneer of molded plywood. Designed with tapered legs, a generous curved seat, and a concave backrest that is widest at the shoulders, the contoured form lets the body relax. They are from Rove Concepts of Los Angeles, and are regularly $399. ea., plus flat rate shipping of $159. ea., with a 1-3 week shipping time. Then they need to be assembled. My price is $295. ea. This is an all original Child’s desk from circa 1939. It was made by Paris Manufacturing Company from Paris, Maine. This Company was famous for their Sled making. iPhone 4 in great condition. Battery still charges and holds a charge. I am the original owner and had it in an Otterbox case from the time I got it til now. Case comes with it.
