Part Sales Associate/Driver

Longhorn, Inc. is a 3 rd generation independent and family owned wholesale supplier of irrigation, landscape, wastewater, lawn equipment, and outdoor lighting. We have been providing materials to contractors and installers in the state of Texas for over 44 years! We are currently seeking a hardworking individual to fill an open full-time position at our location in Frisco, TX. Specifically, this location is searching for a quality individual capable of selling merchandise over-the-counter directly to our customers. This Longhorn employee will also need to learn Friscos driving operations as well as warehouse and pipe yard maintenance so that they are familiar with all of our operations, with intention towards growth into an inside sales operative at the Longhorn Irrigation sales counter. No CDL is required to drive Longhorn vehicles, just a valid Texas Drivers License with an insurable driving record. Flat-bed cab-over driving, and lift truck experience is beneficial, but is not necessary as training will be provided. Customer service mentality is a must. The ideal candidate would perform various duties including: Delivering material to job site locations and to our other Longhorn locations Receiving orders and transfers Pulling and preparing orders and transfers General Warehouse Maintenance Shipping and receiving inventory Creating Sales Orders Processing Payments Actively participate in training to grow product knowledge Training will be provided.
