Snowblower, refreshed head gasket.

Clearance priced end of season, Checked the drive and augers and everything turning, I replaced the defective auger belt. I disassembled and serviced the starter motor, cleaning the commuter, and greesing the bendex gears. greased and, oiled everything I could get at, which is time consuming, replaced any missing hardware and adjusted the cable adjusters as needed.. Made repairs as needed. (restoration as needed, such as going through the carb while I was right there, accessable, covers off, resurfaced the valves, they looked like new!, the cylinder is in excellent shape!. The Tecumseh 5 horse is popular with snow blowers of this size and is known for its easy starting in cold weather, Started with the electric start also. consider, I put alot of good work into this machine, bringing it back from disrepair. Replaced the OEM headgasket and cleaned everything up. Often times they come with a 5 horse, so it should have enough power for its size. 24 swath, It is a large 10 auger throat. This is a preferred 2 stage snowblower with manual shoot adjustment which works as it should. As pictured. End of season clearance. I may fix the governor later(big job as the case needs to be opened). (Currently manual throttle adjustment, governor inoperable) Or use it as is. (The main advantage of the governor is to (automatically) open the throttle up when the engine bogs down in deep snow, you would just turn up the idle screw at this point.) John.
