We’re selling a Vitra Grand Repos chair premium leather, which sells for a retail price of over $12k currently (see images of from Vitra website with identical options as this chair). That is not a typo -- $12,000 new as configured from Vita (go to Vitra.com and configure it yourself if you are skeptical). The Grand Repos is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in — theres not even a close second -- and you will probably agree. There is no other chair like it. Why is the price so low? I have dramatically lowered the price because we need the space. I own two Grand Repos chairs and we dont have room for the second one after getting a dog. The tilt lock is not the reason: You can still sit in an upright position if you wish and I have used it for years this way.
