Often made in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States. It’s faceted hood rotates and pivots providing many different light treatments, even indirect lighting. Iron weight in base makes it very steady. It has some places of tarnish on the base, hence the price. It operates perfectly and does not need to be rewired.
