HOMETIME: Currently drivers at our Buffalo are home most nights. However, we are growing and adding business at this terminal so we are looking for drivers who would be ok with an occasional night out if there is a change in our customer needs or emergency work that takes them out. When Bulkmatic drivers spend a night on the road, we provide a hotel room and a per diem. There is some weekend work at this location. On average, drivers can expect to work every other weekend. Primarily doing delivery work with preloaded trailers on the weekends. EQUIPMENT: Bulkmatic takes pride in our in-house fleet maintenance ne 2 rk. Our 22 shop locations enable us to maintain an extensive PM Program. Our shops run multiple shifts allowing for more service hours and we have the added flexibility of our mobile technicians. BENEFITS: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full time employees including paid vacation and holidays, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401 k with employer match, and life insurance among other benefits. ***No Tanker Endorsement or Pneumatic Experience Required*** REQUIREMENTS: *Be at least 23 years old to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle interstate *Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience. *Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred. *Military driving experience will be considered. *Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, andto make entries on reports and records *Be physiy and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA *Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA *Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description *You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days. *Hazmat endorsement required at certain locations. Tank endorsement not required for dry bulk. *Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. *No Speeding Violations of 15 mph or over pending or adjudicated in the last 3 years *No Careless / Reckless driving convictions within past 3 years *No Erratic or Improper lane change violations within the last 3 years. *No Distraction or Handheld device violations within the past 1 year. *No alcohol or drug related violations within the past 10 years. *The following are not allowed in the past 3 years: *Preventable accidents: Head on, Rollover, Rear End, Jackknife, Struck side of other vehicle *No more than 1 Preventable Road accident in the past 3 years *No more than a combination of 1 Preventable Road accident and 1 Preventable off-road accident in past 3 years *No more than 2 Preventable off-road accidents allowed in the past 3 years *No safety related suspensions or Suspensions resulting from a previous citation/violation in last 10 years *Not more than 1 administrative suspension in last 3 years, not more than 2 in the last 5 years We have occasional loads to Canada.
