Early 1900s Georg Bommer silvered relief RED DEER STAG wall plaque – OLD TROPHY Vintage Early 1900s 3-Dimensional silver-plated metal (pewter?) Red Deer Stag head sculpture mounted in black painted oak frame. Unsigned , but it is definitely Georg Bommer - early 20th century German artist and engraver. (I am pretty sure that the head/neck was trimmed to fit the frame. Usually the G.G. Bommer engraved signature is across the base of the neck. See photo of another trophy I have). Frame measurements: Outside = 8 x 8 // Inside = 5 3/4” x 5 3/4” It was a trap shooting trophy awarded in Ramstein, Germany in 1966 (I removed the silver plated tag, but it will come with it) Great for a Rustic Cabin // Hunting Lodge or your home! EXCELLENT CONDITION - Beautiful. No scratches or broken parts. Frame is solid oak and has excellent black finish. Hanging wires are intact and strong. Local Sale. No Emails. Please Call or Text
