Often made in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States. It’s faceted hood rotates and pivots providing many different light treatments, even indirect lighting. Iron weight in base makes it very steady. It has some places of tarnish on the base, hence the price. It operates perfectly and does not need to be rewired. (This is not considered a childs desk but it is small!) 1940s-1950s Teak wood, stained Danish modern style library table/desk. Obvious wear and tear-in rough shape cosmetically it could use some TLC but structurally sound. No major damage. Some chips and dings in wood as shown in photos as well as scuffs, some stains in drawers, the joints are rough but overall in decent condition for an antique. The table is not wobbly at all, its a well made functional, sturdy piece. Theres a small piece broken on the left tract inside desk that can easily be repaired but both drawers are intact and it doesnt affect pulling drawers in and out, they dont get stuck. Original round head iron nails. The small drill holes in back of table likely indicate it was affixed to a wall at some point. *PLEASE NOTE dimensions: Desk top 32 L x 24 H x 17.5 Depth. Leg clearance under desk 26 L x 19 H Drawers 12 L x 4 H x 10.5 Depth Table Leg circumference: 5 and 1.5 wide Weight 22 lbs For a small stature person Includes a glass top-no chips or cracks but some visible scuffs This was my late grandmothers but I dont have room for it unfortunately I have several more detailed photos I can send upon request including close ups of the wear and tear.
