Rated at a whopping 25 amps, 2900 watts; so, I would recommend using the instant reverse under load only. There are no dents, just cosmetic wear. The stainless steel container is the best way for working with food. What sets this blender apart from others is that its made in USA, and family-owned, meaning the copper windings are thicker, super heavy duty, which will outlast all competitors.
