For sale is this exceptional pair of restored mid-century modern wicker lounge chairs designed by the legendary Lawrence Peabody for Richardson Nemschoff, circa 1960s. Known for their iconic sculptural silhouette, classic rattan wicker “cradle” seats and organic look, this pair have been meticulously and professionally restored bringing them back to their original glory while also preserving vintage integrity – now exquisitely upholstered in an hunter green colorway for a classic and timeless mid-century look. OVERVIEW: This rattan chair design is one of Peabodys most decorated achievements, having earned the 1962 International AID Design Award and features that distinctive sculptural frame with flat-curved, tapering armrests extending from the curved back rail in one continuous form…like the chair is hugging you while sitting in it. This unique wicker/rattan silhouette remains highly sought after by mid-century aficionados. SEATS: Have just been professionally-reupholstered (by the well-known MCM upholstery shop here in Seattle - HM Duke Design) in a durable yet classic green/olive faux leather and meticulously designed/tapered to fit perfectly within the rattan seats…ready to exude a comfortable and fantastic MCM/retro yet classic vibe in your space for the next 30+ years. CONDITION: The frames have just been reconditioned and given a new protective lacquer finish, the frame coloring is a honey-toned walnut/oak (if that makes any sense) so would blend with a wide-array of color schemes. This chair design is known for the bottom rattan portion sagging over time just from the weight of someone sitting, so the rattan has been thoroughly restored throughout and seat-bottom portions have been reinforced with sturdy synthetic furniture strapping underneath providing a “hidden from everyday view” yet resilient foundation for the bottom seat cushions and chair lounger. Ive taken photos with and without the cushions to showcase those lovely frames, hand-woven wicker seat cradles, support strapping, etc. Keen attention was paid to every detail of restoration so these two are now in absolutely gorgeous condition. As with all vintage furniture, there are minor blemishes that I have addressed/blended but overall they present beautifully - certain to be the collective focal point of your space! DIMENSIONS: 28.5” wide x 30.5” high x 30.5” deep ; 17” floor-to-seat height (Im 63 and these fit me just fine). VIEWINGS/APPOINTMENTS: In-person viewings are available by appointment and always the best way to preview things so you know exactly what youre getting. I could assist with delivery within the greater Seattle area for a nominal fee, well figure something out if you need. I could also coordinate shipping logistics should you live outside the area too. No holds, no returns...all sales final. Very midcentury, mid-century, Danish, modern, MCM, teak, retro, atomic, etc.

Admiral upright electric 240v dryer. 7 cu ft. The legacy platform, all analog nothing digital to prematurely fail. Great shape functionally and cosmetically. Normal wear and tear. Multiple temp options and cycle combos including air fluff. THIS unit got a full refurbish. Cleaned out thoroughly, chassis, lint filter chute. Replaced motor pulley. Serviced belt pulley. Belt is in good shape. Put it through testing protocols, runs well even under load. Heat is good. Temp control. Etc. Rolls well. Door seal is good. Timed dry works well and air fluff with no heat as well. Everything is tip top and working perfectly like all my units. No sticking on the timer, everything runs smooth. This unit has been running strong for many years. Drum has some paint worn off, as shown in the pics. Cleaned up the back honeycomb screen with a wire brush. Lint tray is in good shape which is rare for units this age. Tested element and all thermostats and fuses. Model number ADE7005AYW. My units are the same as when you buy new from the store, meaning that they do not come with power cord. I DO have an assortment of all 4 main types of plug. If you send a pic of your socket and let me know what length you need, I will install the proper cord for about half of what they cost in stores. In town, priced right, can deliver for a very modest fee dependant upon location. Installation available and priced on a case by case basis. I also have lots of accessories available cheaper than the store. Call or text, anytime day or night. Text is preferrable to calls, and I never check my email. Local only, no codes or third parties, etc. 5 oh five, 5 eight 9, eight eight 3 nine. $180 firm, is an excellent old school analog tank type unit, those usually sell and move quick for $230 or more. I accept cash, zelle, venmo, cashapp and metapay. Cash is preferred. Sold as-is. Although I will say I stand by my work, while there is no warranty express or implied; on the off chance something goes out in the first lil while after purchase, we will figure out a way to make it right. This is at my discretion, usually repair or replace free of charge. There are some things I dont cover, or that might have a deductible....but pretty much anything excepting catastrophic failure is something we can get taken care of. Sometimes I buy broken, unwanted or non-working appliances as well as led and plasma tvs. I can offer cash, or a higher trade-in discount. Get me the model number and condition and we shall see. Every one of my units is personally inspected and tested by me, in real world conditions. By hand. Never from a row of open box units and store returns. Paid $450 for this cell phone for my dad 3 months ago and only used for 2 months. It’s a cell phone designed for seniors that is controlled through a free app by the caregiver. Do your own research on it…works perfect, no flaws, scratches and again barely used. I purchased the “pad” that the cell phone sets on which charges the phone and a phone case. So many wonderful features, and can also do video calls. Video calls must be initiated by the caller/caregiver and not by the senior/user. I believe any cellular service can be used, we used Affinity Cellular, only $20 a month. My dad passed away and our first 2 months were free and never went into the 3rd month of service.
