We are now crafting each piece of Masonboro Adirondack furniture out of #1-grade kiln-dried pressure-treated pine with a comfortable curved back and wide level armrests for setting a drink or plate on. Can be left unfinished to slowly weather to a nice gray color, or because the wood is kiln-dried, you can now immediately paint or stain with no waiting for the wood to dry. Youve seen Adirondacks for two to three times this price that are not nearly as comfortable, or as sturdy and strong. And you can go to the Big Box stores, and buy untreated Adirondacks for $150+ that wobble when you sit in them, and wont last a year. Based on plans from Norm Abrams New Yankee Workshop. All edges are rounded over and all wood is sanded smooth for a more comfortable feel. All joints are connected with galvanized nuts and bolts or Phillips II Plus screws, and ALL JOINTS ARE GLUED WITH GORILLA GLUE polyurethane and exterior grade Titebond II to make for a more solid and sturdy chair for years to come!!! To our knowledge, we are the ONLY local builder of yard and garden furniture that uses glue on our wood joints. We also use 1/4 inch galvanized bolts and nuts (as well as the glue, too) at the stress points---where the legs intersect on each side (3 bolts in EACH joint) and where the arms intersect the stretcher behind the back slats (2 bolts in EACH joint). Most local builders use only screws. We also have perfected plans for an Adirondack Loveseat that we can make for $370. Because of the added length to this piece, we build it with 5/4 boards for the legs, and 2x4s for the horizontal support pieces. And of course, all joints are glued and bolted or screwed just like our chairs. Admiral upright electric 240v dryer. 7 cu ft. The legacy platform, all analog nothing digital to prematurely fail. Great shape functionally and cosmetically. Normal wear and tear. Multiple temp options and cycle combos including air fluff. THIS unit got a full refurbish. Cleaned out thoroughly, chassis, lint filter chute. Replaced motor pulley. Serviced belt pulley. Belt is in good shape. Put it through testing protocols, runs well even under load. Heat is good. Temp control. Etc. Rolls well. Door seal is good. Timed dry works well and air fluff with no heat as well. Everything is tip top and working perfectly like all my units. No sticking on the timer, everything runs smooth. This unit has been running strong for many years. Drum has some paint worn off, as shown in the pics. Cleaned up the back honeycomb screen with a wire brush. Lint tray is in good shape which is rare for units this age. Tested element and all thermostats and fuses. Model number ADE7005AYW. My units are the same as when you buy new from the store, meaning that they do not come with power cord. I DO have an assortment of all 4 main types of plug. If you send a pic of your socket and let me know what length you need, I will install the proper cord for about half of what they cost in stores. In town, priced right, can deliver for a very modest fee dependant upon location. Installation available and priced on a case by case basis. I also have lots of accessories available cheaper than the store. Call or text, anytime day or night. Text is preferrable to calls, and I never check my email.
