Sewing Machine - 1946 Singer 66-16

$300.00 CASH ONLY (Serious Inquiries Only) PICK UP ONLY AT LEVESQUESS SEWING & VAC STORE I currently have this Sewing Machine on display as a consignment sale at Levesques Sew & Vac in Hooksett New Hampshire (See Picture of Business Card for Address & Phone Number for Levesques Sew & Vac Center) I did do some research on the serial number series, and this series only had 2,000 units made. Not sure if that is important, but it was in the historical information I did find. This was one of the first series to re-start production for the civilian market after WWII ended. The manufacturing date is April 8, 1946 according to the serial number research I did. So it is a post-war machine. THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL IS INCLUDED. 1946 Singer Model 66-16 in a Newer Sewing Machine Case (See Photos) It was purchased by Richard Stonner for his daughter, Nancy Stonner-Potvin (I found this information in hand written notes on the inside of the original manual) From there it looks like it stayed in the family until it was acquired by another owner, then I purchased it from them. The person I purchased it from stated that they acquired it from the original owner. Clean, and is Mechanically Sound. It does run, and sew. Main power cord was replaced with a brand new one. Foot pedal works.
