Sperry Rand Gyrocompass Repeater off a merchant ship

The compass is mounted on a pedestal. It is 54 inches tall and has a 14 inch diameter base. The top portion of the pedestal is built such that the compass will be able to move as the ship moves in the water. The top is also 14 inch in diameter. $1950.
