💚💚💚 VINTAGE AFGHAN RUG 7X9.5 WOOL,HAND KNOTTED,HAND DYED

This was my first rug ,I bought it in Afghanistan in 1975 for $1500 because I fell in love with it. I did an inflation adjusted calculation towards 2025 and the price in 2025 would be $9,000. Of course I dont expect such a price,instead I sell it for only $1,250.I sell it with sadness because I run out of space living now in a retirement community. I went to many rug dealers in San Diego for an evaluation.The estimates came in as: $1,500 $3,500-$3,800 $4,000-$5,000 (they dont make them anymore) It is very densely woven and because of that it is very heavy. Some dealers called it a Turkoman,an Afghani dealer called it SHARUQUE Vintage rug,good condition,no stains,no pets,no odor,no smokers.
