Dental Hygienist

We are a well-established, family dental practice providing all types of general and cosmetic dentistry to all ages of patients. Many of our patients have been with us for generations. Smiles on Sandy is privately owned by brothers Dr. Jon and Dr. Brett Daby. We require all clinical staff to use surgical masks during treatment, and we have invested in air purification units throughout the office. Therefore, we foster a positive work environment where everyone is treated with respect. We are looking for a hygienist for two days per week. The position is for a general dentistry hygiene position to provide routine prophylactic hygiene treatment to healthy patients and to provide treatment for early and moderate periodontally involved patients with scaling and root planning. We offer the option of nitrous oxide for anxiolysis and would prefer that hygienists have a nitrous certificate, although this is not required. The ideal candidate will have: -Two years’ experience (flexible based on work ethic and learning aptitude) -current RDH certificate in Oregon -current nitrous certificate in Oregon -Dentrix experience -Typing skills -Strong work ethic -Unshakable professionalism -Team-focused attitude with co-workers The position is for two days per week with potential for more days, days are Wednesday and Thursday 7:40 am to 5 pm with lunch from 12-1.
