The act of creating artwork moves me through the world in extraordinary ways. My roots are in community and in the pivotal mentorships that shaped me as Ive acquired skills both locally and through international art courses in Italy and Greece. The studio stays buzzing through years and decades. I aim for authenticity in my subjects, drawing from meaningful moments that strike me in nature and in relationships. The best work always seems to arrive when I let my curiosity have the greatest say in my creative choices. This piece is from our large art collection, assembled over a more than 50-year time span. The collection consists of original paintings lithographs, photographs, drawings, etchings, and other types of prints, as well as some mixed media pieces, all of which well eventually be listing on Craigslist Marketplace. As our main concern is finding new, appreciative homes for the pieces, were pricing them to sell, at prices well below fair market value.
