If you like being around the water, Valley Marine, a premier boat dealer in Central Washington, is looking for an energetic and organized Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in the marine industry, providing essential support to our sales team while driving our sales and marketing efforts. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities listed in order of importance): • Assisting with Boat Deliveries: Help the sales staff with on the water demos, delivery coordination, unit inspection, etc. Candidates should be able and willing to learn how to tow and back boat trailers. Training will be provided. • Showroom & Inventory Management: Assist with keeping the showroom and sales lot clean, organized, and looking its best for customers. Assist with boat prep for demos and deliveries. • Sales Support: Assist sales staff with customer paperwork, owner’s packets, etc. • Marketing & Social Media: Create engaging content (photos/videos) of inventory for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Update website listings with enticing descriptions of new and pre-owned boats. Training will be provided. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): • Passion for Boating: A general love for being on and around the water is a must. • Marketing Skills: Experience with social media platforms (Instagram/YouTube) and basic photography/video editing skills. • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Driving Record: You must have a clean driving record. • Detail Oriented: Example: you’ll notice if a boat isn’t sufficiently clean and organized before taking photos or videos • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new CRM software. • Organized: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Availability: Must be able to work some Saturdays during peak season. • Experience in marine, powersports, RV or automotive sales is a plus, but not required!
