Sandwell is a modern healthyish sandwich shop based in Manhattan, featuring toasted sandwiches on our own fresh bread and world-class customer service. Everything is made in-house so we can offer deliciously healthyish sandwiches to our community. At Sandwell, our customers take center stage in everything we do. Role and Responsibilities - As a FOH Sandwich Maker, you are the liaison providing both exceptional customer experience and delicious sandwiches, salads, and sides to our guests. - Greet and direct our guests and help them place their order - Make our delicious healthyish toasted sandwiches to order - Follow best practices of safety procedures and sanitary requirements at all times - Assist with preparing catering orders. - Learn and maintain menu knowledge to assist our guests in menu selection - Operate commercial appliances such as coffee maker, toasters, etc. - Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time - Maintain guest and kitchen areas by clearing tables, mop and sweeping floors, sanitizing countertops, etc. Sandwell is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
