Im selling my Vox 2x12 Combo. This is a rare Limited Edition version of the classic AC30 circuit that comes with a two-tone blue and white tolex finish, only sold for about a year in the mid-2010s as a reissue of the two-tone series originally sold in the 1960s. After years of using this as my main amp in the studio and on multiple tours, this amp has been fully serviced by a professional technician and is ready for its next adventure. The amp includes a tour-grade Roadie brand travel case with smooth rolling casters and refurbished latches, and a standard IEC/d-plug power cable. Cosmetically, this amp has some character, with a few scuffs and scratches on all sides of the tolex, each earned from consistent gigging and touring. If you want an amp that looks like it has some soul instead of a polished museum piece, this is the perfect amp for you. Sonically, this amp is a quite the beast. The Normal and Top Boost channel sound great, and they can be connected together for a smoother overdriven sound. As a clean pedal platform this amp was able to handle my giant board with 20+ pedals and always had enough headroom even when getting slammed with multiple drives, fuzzes, and delays. Use the amp clean for the classic tones that put Vox on the map, crank the input for some vintage grit, or put a distortion pedal in front of it and melt the surprised faces off of the people who dont expect a vintage looking amp to sound as mean as this one can. No matter where or how often you use this amp, it is reliable and sounds fantastic. Im only replacing it because Im going back to using a head & cab setup and dont need it any more. This is the Digitech whammy for guitar. Its basically a pitch shifter connected to a wah. It can be used to do nice jumps or crazy pitch bending stuff. It has a very distinct sound compared to other effects pedals. You probably already know what it does though if youre here. Used by artists like Tom Morello, Matt Belamy, Jack White and more. Very cool thing. This can ONLY be used with this power supply. It will not have enough power on the standard 9v.
