Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, underwriters, vendors, and other partners who provide client services, assist in negotiating, strategizing, planning, implementing, and managing risk management processes with them on behalf of the clients, and ensure quality delivery of services provided by them over time. Manage client engagements. Support development of new clients through written proposals, presentations and client engagement negotiations. Work with client leadership to define strategies and program parameters to ensure total cost of risk is optimized and program outcomes are achieved and communicated. Lead strategy sessions and present coverage options to client leadership and boards for approval and updates. Assemble and manage teams of professionals who will run various risk management functions including claims, loss control, insurance placement, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, enterprise risk management, etc. Based on leads generated by the sales team, develop relationships with prospective clients and lead efforts to onboard new client accounts and provide ongoing client services. Maintain an awareness of clients risk management needs and collaborate with Risk International team members to identify opportunities to expand service delivery and Risk International service offerings. Lead and manage Managers and/or Associates to ensure quality control throughout their base of assigned clients. Define risk management team goals in alignment with company goals, track progress, and manage activities to achieve the goals. Develop the skills and knowledge of Directors, Managers and Associates by educating and training them on account management, client relationship management, client strategy, risk management, and leadership. Provide leadership and coaching to risk management teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and capabilities to serve clients. Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct employee performance reviews. About You Required: Bachelor’s Degree with a preference for a degree in risk management or related field. 10 – 15 years’ experience working in the insurance / risk management field. 3-5 years of experience being responsible for account and/or relationship management, leading and managing in a team-based environment Experience managing relationships with various partners in the insurance industry. Ability and experience to negotiate contracts and support sales activities.
