The chairs are substantial in size and very comfortable. The chairs could be called a Martha Washington Chair but are also akin to a wingback (minus the wings) and with exposed walnut arms and stretchers. The chairs have a very elegant, textured Royal Blue upholstery with Brass nail head trim and solid walnut arms, legs and stretchers. The chairs also have Double Stretchers a sign of quality and strong craftsmanship. The chairs are made by Gregson. Gregson is a furniture manufacturer still in business in Liberty, North Carolina today. The chairs are in great aesthetic and structural condition. These chairs would be great in a living room, but would also be great in an office environment. They would also make AMAZING great chairs in a waiting room.
