Picker/Packer Lead Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Compensation: $24-$27/hr starting Employment Type: Full-time About Veritas Vans: Veritas Vans is a leading manufacturer and seller of Star mounting hardware, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer Lead to join our fast-paced team! Job Description: As a Picker/Packer Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers while providing support to the picking/packing team as a whole. Attention to detail, speed, and a customer-first mindset are essential to meet our high standards and tight deadlines. Responsibilities: - Set up, print, and distribute shipping labels to the packing team each morning and throughout the day as needed. - Provide input on best practices for the team/warehouse to maximize efficiency. - Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications. - Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, ensuring quality standards are met. - Verify order details and inspect products for defects or discrepancies. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace. - Collaborate with the team to meet daily goals. - Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed. - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution. Requirements: - Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy. - Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Possess strong communication skills to work effectively with the team. - Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. - Previous warehouse or packing is a plus but not required. - Team player with good communication skills and basic computer proficiency. - Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and innovative company.
