Antique early 19C Incised IndoPersian Lacquered Brass Tray+20C Stand

This is an exceptional very large, wonderfully engraved & incised, hand wrought, solid brass tray w/applied hand hammered pie crust rim. Believed to date from the early 19th -possibly earlier- there is a later, soldered wallhanging hook to the top rear. This is a gorgeous antique handcraft hewn with skill, art & quality by hand. The elements of incising, hammering, hand applying and quality of form are pure and beautiful; a proper antique with relevant aesthetic, functional design and decor value. Depicting varying Fauna on the round-surrounded by flora, the outer radius features repeating ancient symbols of elements, alchemy and protection. No human depictions or hunting scenes appear. The hand made brass nails attaching the rim show remarkable hand craft and indicate age, as do the beautiful hand engraved depictions of creatures and botanical elements. Paired with a 1950s folding teak stand, this impressive piece is a standout design element across a range of decor/design placements, however purposed; adorning a wall or functional design decor as a table.
