Art & Lutherie AMI Cedar Top, Rosewood Fret Board and Maple Neck. This is absolutely Excellent Condition. The perfect Great Studio, Couch and Song writing Guitar. Ami guitars are made by the Seagull company in Canada. A Great Parlor guitar sized like the guitars from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The twelve fret fretboard with the bridge set back further than a 14 fret guitar gives great tone and volume. It has many other applications. I keep my AMI close to the couch, take it camping or just when I travel. I’ve owned many parlor guitars including expensive Martins, Taylor’s and the Guild M-20, I choose the AMI over them to play - I also am not as concerned about scratches because it costs a lot less as an investment. The AMI was also made with a spruce top and Cherry ply top. The Solid Cedar top is the most desirable.
