LOCALLY OVERWINTERED honey bee nucs and full colonies available May - June 2026 for pick up in Riverwoods IL or Knox IN. 5 FRAME HONEY BEE NUC - $200 Healthy laying queen, 3 frames of brood, 1 pollen, 1 honey and a box full of bees locally overwintered. Price includes carton nuc box. (See pictures) Available later in April and throughout all May. 10 FRAME FULL COLONY - $360 Overwintered bees with laying queen, 10 frames as is with brood pollen and honey. Available as early as beginning of April and through June. ABOUT US We are a small apiary of 150 colonies in IL & IN operating since 2008, focused on wildflower honey production. Never rented our bees to pollination services. All bees are treated for Varroa mite and Nosema. Our overwintering survival rate is over 90% on average. The queens are 1 year old or younger. Mix of Minnesota Hygienic/ Italian breed.
