Housekeeper - Helper

Please read the entire post carefully: We’re seeking an experienced, mature housekeeper to join our team in a supportive senior living environment. Schedule Typical shifts are 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with the opportunity for additional hours based on performance and availability. Schedules are assigned based on facility needs and may include: Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday Occasional split shifts when needed: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM (1-hour break) Fridays are generally 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM, though hours may vary. This role is ideal for someone seeking consistent daytime hours, with most weekends free, while participating in meaningful special events throughout the year. Important: Weekend availability is required for special events. This includes Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10th, 2026) — an all-hands-on-deck, non-negotiable shift. Performance Expectations This role requires efficiency and strong time management: Standard rooms: 20 minutes Deluxe rooms: 30 minutes Responsibilities Cleaning showers, bathtubs, and restrooms Vacuuming (heavy), sweeping, and mopping Cleaning windows, counters, and kitchenette areas Dishwashing Making beds and changing linens Laundry (washing, sorting, and returning items to residents) Deep cleaning and maintaining common areas Reporting maintenance issues and submitting work orders Inspecting for pests (ants, spiders, etc.) Team Support Duties All team members contribute to the overall resident experience. This may include: Serving food to residents Assisting with birthdays and special events Checking on residents (door knocks/wellness checks) Contacting emergency services or family if needed Assisting with activities (bingo, small groups) Setting up and taking down decorations What We’re Looking For Someone who enjoys working with senior citizens Friendly, respectful, and dependable Able to stay focused and efficient in a time-sensitive environment Strong work ethic and reliability Pay Starting at $17.13/hour DOE Requirements Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card How to Apply (No phone calls — they will not improve your chances.)
